Olga Reznichenko Trio
20:00 – Turnhalle

New worlds are created in dreams. Our subconscious is in control. Swans swim in the blue sky and words become swallows. The sounds of the Olga Reznichenko Trio and saxophonist Theresia Philipp fly across the sky in their very particular formations. The meeting promises to be a perfect match. We’re glad we can be there.
Due to illness, Theresia Philipp unfortunately has to cancel. The Olga Reznichenko Trio will play without the saxophonist.

Carlo’s Garden
21:15 – Turnhalle

In his garden unicorns graze and hummingbirds hum. Next to the bitter melons he’s planted a mandobass. Carlo Mombelli is a magician, and if he weren’t breeding melodies he’d be jumping through Wonderland and drinking bubble tea with Alice. “Hauntingly beautiful” exclaims the BBC, “disconcertingly beautiful” purrs Jazz Times. Mombelli is a melodist like no other. This winter he’ll be snow-drifting through Switzerland and presenting Carlo’s Garden, a band consisting of both old and new friends.

Red Data
22:30 – Turnhalle

Red Data stands for abrasive acoustic frequencies melting with transgressing electronic sound design, woven together by eerie microtonal shimmering spheres. A melting pot of improvised ideas and messages from three very different but strongly connected musicians.

Black Eagle Moon

In the bushlands around Johannesburg there grows a special herb. Inspired by Afro, Krautrock, jazz and the world around him, the musician-producer-songwriter Shane Cooper invites us on a psychedelic sound journey. Together with the dream team of his longstanding dreams, he dares to embark on the Afro-Kraut jazz experiment Black Eagle Moon.

Elvin Brandhi & Ludwig Wandinger
01:00 – tba

An improvisational poet, producer and sound artist from Wales who builds unexpected beats from field recordings, audio tape, vinyl and voice meets for the first time a jack-of-all-trades from Berlin who is equally at home on the drums, as a producer and as a visual artist. Elvin Brandhi and Ludwig Wandinger are hard to believe at the same time, and they’ve been causing a sensation in the underground scene.
